This week’s episode of SmackDown ended with a cliffhanger as Samoa Joe visited what WWE claimed was AJ Styles’ house.
Styles and Joe having a contract signing for their no disqualification, no countout match for the WWE Championship at Super Show-Down was supposed to headline last night’s SmackDown, but the storyline of Joe taunting Styles’ family continued with him instead showing up outside the Styles home. After Styles begged him not to go in, Joe said “daddy’s home” and rang the doorbell as the show went off the air.
Also on SmackDown, Aiden English accused Lana of lying about something that happened “one night in Milwaukee” and said he’ll bring video proof of the accusation to next week’s go-home show for Super Show-Down, Becky Lynch attacked Charlotte Flair during a photoshoot and then faced Lana later in the episode, and Daniel Bryan’s appearance on Truth TV led to a match between The Miz and R-Truth with the fate of Truth TV/Miz TV on the line.
