Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson currently wrestle for WWE on the SmackDown roster, and since joining the company in 2016, they’ve been Raw Tag Team Champions. However, before coming to WWE, they were part of the dominant Bullet Club faction and had great success together in New Japan Pro Wrestling. Given their relationship with The Elite, one would think that it certainly is possible that both Gallows and Anderson could make the jump over to All Elite Wrestling as soon as their contracts with WWE come to an end. Several fans have expressed disappointment over how Anderson and Gallows have been used since joining the company, so could they be on the “Good Brothers” be on their way to AEW very soon?
In an new interview with Gallows and Anderson, they finally addressed that very topic. While speaking with Chris Van Vilet, Luke Gallows wished the members of The Elite luck with their ambitious new project. However, Gallows noted that he would have liked to see them come over to WWE and join himself and Anderson as an onscreen act. Anderson also stressed that he wanted to see his friends succeed. All Elite Wrestling will host their first show, Double or Nothing, in Las Vegas, Nevada in May. Neither Anderson nor Gallows denied interest in coming to AEW, so perhaps the former Bullet Club members will join the promotion at some point in the future. 205 Live Superstar Buddy Murphy is on top of the cruiserweight division in WWE right now. Not only is he still the Cruiserweight Champion, but Murphy has been having great matches with just about everybody that he has stepped in the ring with since joining the show. However, before debuting on 205 Live, Murphy spent over a year trying to earn a spot on the roster. On Lilian Garcia’s Chasing Glory podcast, Murphy talked about getting rejected for the show, which caused him to begin dieting in order to get under the weight limit. When the Cruiserweight Championship was vacated in early 2018, Murphy pitched the idea of joining 205 Live again. Triple H and Adam Pearce called him to join the roster when he was at 204 pounds.
“I sat in the sauna, I got down, I weighed myself and I was 204. He’s like, ‘Alright.’ [Pearce] took a photo of me and then I think he sent it to Triple H. I’m just doing live events and I’m sitting at the house, I get a phone call from Ryan Katz. He goes, ‘What time can you come in tomorrow?’ I said, ‘What are you talking about? For what?’ He goes, ‘You don’t know?’ I go, ‘No.’ He goes, ‘We need to film vignettes, you’re debuting on Tuesday.’” said Murphy during the interview.
