Last night’s SmackDown on the USA Network averaged 2.198 million viewers, up two percent from last week. Following Sunday’s Fastlane pay-per-view, the number was up exactly the same percentage as Raw was on Monday.
SmackDown finished eighth for the night on cable in terms of total viewers and was second in the 18-49 demo — with a 0.71 rating. That only trailed a new episode of Curse of Oak Island, which did a 0.76 rating in the demo.
SmackDown did face sports competition in the form of two NBA basketball games on TNT, but both games drew under a million viewers.
The episode retained just under 80 percent of the Raw audience from Monday night, which is right around what SmackDown has been doing since the end of football season. Year-over-year, SmackDown was down 21 percent.
