The writing appears to be on the wall for Mauizio Sarri following Chelsea’s dismal FA Cup defeat at home to Manchester United.
It continues a dreadful run of results which has seen the Blues also lose to Arsenal, Bournemouth and Manchester City since the turn of the year.
Chelsea’s form has been so bad that reports have emerged that senior figures at the club are discussing the Italian’s future, with Zinedine Zidane and Frank Lampard being considered as potential replacements.
So talkSPORT’s Adrian Durham called on fans to vote who they feel should be Chelsea’s manager and the results make for interesting reading.
It doesn’t look good for Sarri who received just 10 per cent of the vote of the 6,823 votes in the Drivetime poll.
As the poll was addressed to Chelsea fans this is hardly a surprise given the Italian’s seemingly low approval rating at Stamford Bridge with some Blues supporters chanting ‘f*** Sarriball‘ during the loss to United.
However, what is perhaps more surprising is who came out on top.
It was former Chelsea boss and recently sacked Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho who won with 37 per cent of the vote, with Zidane (28 per cent) and club legend Frank Lampard (25 per cent) coming second and third respectively.
The vote was addressed to Chelsea fans but this is not to say everyone who voted in this poll was a Chelsea fan, though.
