London based budding designer Mattijs is selected to present his SS09 collection at White in Milan. From 25-28th September 2008, Mattijs will showcase his work alongside other Dutch designers, whom have been chosen by the Dutch Fashion Foundation (DFF). In collaboration with Modint Export and with the support of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, the DFF organised the trade mission Dutch Touch Milan 2008. The DFF supports Dutch designers in launching their labels to the international market, and to concentrate on the presentations and sales of their collections to international buyers, agents and media.
Glamorous with an edge, Mattijs’ modern woman is not shy to wear a palette of colours. For Mattijs, designing is about finding a balance between the emotional and glamorous, craftsmanship and luxury. From August, Mattijs will be available from fashion boutique Browns Focus in London.
