Despite scoring over 390 goals in the Spanish top flight, there are some stadiums where the Argentine has failed to find the back of the net
Lionel Messi holds almost every goalscoring record in La Liga history having scored over 390 league goals for Barcelona in his 14 years at the club. However, there are some stadiums where Messi hasn’t played up to his usual high standards – or often enough.
Among these stadiums is the Atletico Madrid’s new home the Wanda Metropolitano. Messi did score at this ground against Sevilla in the Copa del Rey semi-final last season but it was considered a neutral stadium for that match.
