The Athletic and Santi Aouna are reporting that Paris Saint-Germain have reached an agreement with Chelsea over the loan of Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech (29).

L’Équipe earlier reported that after having passed his medical with Les Parisiens earlier on transfer deadline day, Ziyech was pushing for Chelsea to facilitate his loan move to the French capital. That pushing has seemingly borne fruit. According to, The Athletic and Aouna, PSG have reached an agreement with Chelsea over the loan signing of Ziyech.

The Moroccan international will join the reigning Ligue 1 champions until the summer. The deal includes a fee but doesn’t include an option to make the deal permanent. PSG beat AC Milan, Roma, Red Bull Leipzig and other Premier League clubs including Newcastle United and Everton to the signing of the Chelsea winger.

PSG have been in the market for a winger since the departure of Pablo Sarabia, and having failed to reach agreements to sign Olympique Lyonnais’ Rayan Cherki or Zenit Saint-Petersburg’s Malcom, they seem to have finally brought a winger through the door. Only the officialisation of the deal remains with a complete agreement now in place.
