60 Second Preview: Rennes vs Lille (18/10/15)

Rennes will be aiming to go top of the table with a win over Lille at Roazhon Park on Friday evening. The hosts are in excellent form, having won each of their last four league games, knocking off Montpellier, Lyon, Toulouse and Nantes respectively. They head into this match just one point behind current league leaders PSG, but the champions’ superior goal difference means a draw won’t be enough for Rennes to overhaul them.

Lille, on the other hand, have won just one of their opening five fixtures; a slender 1-0 home victory over Gazelec Ajaccio before the international break. Goals have been hard to come by for Herve Renard’s men this season, with just one scored so far, but they have been just as tight in defence as they have been up front, contesting three goalless draws already.
