Stop the presses! Hailey Bieber just gave the lip gloss nails trend her coveted stamp of approval with her latest manicure.
The model and Rhode founder is best known for her shimmery glazed donut nails, which set TikTok ablaze in summer 2022, but while the glazed nails may be her signature, she doesn't stick to one style too long. On April 11, the nail trendsetter shared an Instagram Story snapshot of her latest mani, a simple but chic neutral that perfectly aligns with the "your nails but better" look worn by celebs like Zendaya and Jennifer Lopez.
Bieber's lip gloss nails were crafted by manicurist Dawn Sterling and filed into a classic long oval shape, a favorite of the model's. Sterling used a neutral nude-pink shade close to Bieber's skin tone for the "naked" illusion with a super shiny, glossy finish. "These are cute," Bieber wrote in her Story, and yes, they certainly are! Sterling didn't share the exact polish behind Bieber's take on lip gloss nails, but Londontown's Perfecting Nail Veil #4 or #6 would impart a similar light wash of color and shine.
While Bieber never shies away from a frosted mani moment, she has been experimenting with classic nail looks more frequently, including the cherry red set she wore in a recent Instagram photo dump. A bright red manicure is always a go-to, but on Bieber it felt surprisingly fresh, given her propensity for a frosted finish. In the fall, she even ditched the donuts for an all-black mani, just in time for spooky season.
