Speaking in an interview with Téléfoot, Arsenal attacker Olivier Giroud spoke about the side’s recent Champions League match-up with Barcelona.

“I am happy to play Barcelona in the Champions League. We will be able to measure ourselves against the best team in the world with a unique strength in the world. We will judge ourselves compared to them.”

He then spoke about his season so far with Arsenal:

“Wenger told me that I had his belief so I worked hard in training and I was decisive when I came on in games. I want to reach the 20 goals bar, I will push myself.”

And Giroud spoke about EURO 2016:

“The Euros, I cannot wait to be there. It is a favourable draw, let’s have a good experience and why not win the Euros.”

Giroud also spoke about Chelsea’s bad start to the season:

“Surprised by Chelsea’s start yes because we thought after losing two or three matches that they would pick themselves up again, but they haven’t been able to go against the grain and now it seems logical that they change the football project with a new manager.”
