According to RMC, Marseille President Vincent Labrune will step down imminently.

Sources contacted by the media outlet maintain that Labrune was always set on stepping down after balancing the club’s books so that they were not penalised by the French football financial watchdog the DNCG.
He managed to complete that objective yesterday following the sale of Michy Batshuayi to Chelsea, which is due to be confirmed later today.
Labrune has been much scapegoated and blamed by Marseille fans over the previous seasons for mismanagement and poor transfer and recruitment policies.
However, nobody can deny that his final act, to make Crystal Palace’s bid for Batshuayi public to draw Chelsea out to make an offer big enough to save the club from financial disrepute is a stroke of genius.
In a big shake up at board level, we can also expect the appointment of a Sporting Director at Marseille in the coming days, according to the report.
