PSG’s original contract with Thiago Silva has been obtained by French outlet Mediapart as part of the Football Leaks series.
It is clear that Les Parisiens had every intention of making Silva feel at home, some clauses within the contract stand out:
8 Paris – Rio return tickets for Thiago Silva and his family.
€400k – Ligue 1 title win bonus.
5 – seats in the VIP “Club Etoile” for each match played at the Parc des Princes.
€250k – Coupe de France win bonus.
€300k – Champions League qualification bonus.
€1m – Winning the Champions League bonus.
€2m to the player’s agent Paul Tonietto when Thiago Silva decides to extend his PSG contract, in addition to the €3.5m agent fee received by Tonietto when the player initially transferred from AC Milan to PSG.
€2.5m – an agreement on behalf of PSG to pay the remainder of the taxation that Thiago Silva was due to pay in Italy.
