Monaco have announced that full back Djibril Sidibé has signed a new contract extension at the club that will take him to 2022.
The former Lille man has reportedly been a target for Premier League duo Arsenal and Chelsea, but he will remain part of Leonardo Jardim’s squad for the foreseeable future.
The 24-year-old made 29 Ligue appearances this past season as he helped Monaco lift the Ligue 1 title, also playing in multiple Champions League games in their run to the semi finals, scoring against Tottenham Hotspur.
Sidibé has also become a fixture in the France national squad, making his debut back in September 2016 and making 10 appearances since then.
