France have brought Clermont Auvergne wing Alivereti Raka back into the squad for the upcoming Autumn Nations Series.
Raka has not played for Les Bleus since December 2020, with poor form and injury hampering him over the past couple of years, but he has enjoyed a strong start to the Top 14 campaign.
There are eight uncapped players in Fabien Galthie’s 42-man squad – four forwards and four backs.

Up front, Reda Wardi, Thomas Laclayat – from Pro D2 side Oyonnax – Florian Verhaeghe and Jordan Joseph are in the squad, while Léo Berdeu, Ethan Dumortier, Romain Buros and Pablo Uberti are the backline newbies.
France are at full strength for their games with Australia, South Africa and Japan after sending a weakened squad to face the Brave Blossoms in July.
Charles Ollivon made his return from a lengthy injury on that mid-year tour and takes his place in this 42-man group, while Romain Ntamack is included despite sustaining a leg issue in September.
Full-back Anthony Bouthier joins Raka in returning to the squad after falling down the pecking order in recent times.
An injury to current first choice player Melvyn Jaminet has opened the door for Bouthier and he will likely compete with Thomas Ramos and Romain Buros for that slot.
