L’Équipe report that Ligue 1 side Lorient have reached an agreement with Belgian 1st division side K.V. Kortrijk to sign 21-year-old Nigerian attacker Terem Moffi.
The agreement sits at the €7m to €8m mark and Les Merlus have already found a contract agreement with the player – the transfer is just a matter of hours away and is expected to be completed at the beginning of next week.
FCL had looked at Moffi as an option back in June before opting to sign Adrian Grbic from Clermont instead, but they decided to sign Moffi to strengthen their attacking options and possibly prepare for an eventual departure of Pierre-Yves Hamel, who has interest from the English Championship.
