As reported by RMC, speaking following his team’s late win over Rennes last night, PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino explained that Brazilian forward Neymar (30) is progressing well in his injury recovery and he could make the squad for Tuesday’s game with Real Madrid in the Champions League last 16. Neymar has missed 13 games after an ankle injury at the end of November.
“Neymar’s development is very good. I hope he will be in the group, he’s an important player for us. We will see in the next few days if he can be available for Real Madrid. All the great players want to be there on the big occasions. Neymar has the experience and the maturity to be able to focus in this type of situation in order to give his best.”
