Ligue 1 21/22, Round 24 – 13/2/22

MONACO – 0

Alexander Nübel, 5

Djibril Sidibé, 4

Axel Disasi, 5

Guillermo Maripán, 5

Caio Henrique, 4

Aurélien Tchouaméni, 5

Jean Lucas, 6

Vanderson, 6 – A prominent outlet on the right during the first half but was surprisingly withdrawn before the hour for Martins. With his natural position being right-back, he has significant competition for a place in the side from Aguilar and Sidibe, he may be used further forward for the rest of the season.

Sofiane Diop, 6 – Despite minimal end product, he posted another relatively lively display in an excellent season overall and was neat and tidy on the ball while playing with more intensity the anyone else in a dire game.

Kevin Volland, 4

Wissam Ben Yedder, 5

Others: Golovin 6, Matazo 5, Akliouche 5, Aguilar 5, Martins 4.

LORIENT – 0

Matthieu Dreyer, 7 – A perennial understudy throughout his career, he inherited the number one jersey after Paul Nardi was dropped for poor form with the club unable to find a replacement in January. Here he was solid throughout and commanded his area well while adding two excellent second-half saves, most memorably with a foot from a Ben Yedder header.

Houboulang Mendes, 5

Julien Laporte, 6

Léo Pétrot, 7 – As a reserve player with Saint-Etienne, seeing very few first-team opportunities, rarely has he looked like becoming a Ligue 1 player – especially as part of a two-man centre-back set up, but here he handled Volland and Ben Yedder well. An acrobatic clearance ahead of Ben Yedder late on was key.

Vincent Le Goff, 6

Bonke Innocent, 5

Thomas Monconduit, 6

Quentin Boisgard, 4

Armand Laurienté, 4

Terem Moffi, 4

Sambou Soumano, 3 – After three goals in three games, and 11 goals in 10 games for the reserve side beforehand, Soumano will have had few less active games this season as he was isolated throughout here and offered zero threat.

Others: Ouattara 5, Le Fee 5, Kone 4, Silva 5.
