Following PSG’s 3-0 victory over Angers at the Stade Raymond Kopa last night, Argentinian boss Mauricio Pochettino spoke about the value of Ligue 1, which the club are set to win for the 10th time, should they win against Lens this weekend.
“Yes, the elimination from the Champions League is always a disappointment, the club is chasing after it. But we have to recognise the value of all the competitions the club plays in. The league is played throughout the year, it requires consistency. Whatever the country, in France, in Italy, in England, it’s very hard to win. Now, we also have to find our fans at the stadium again, all while respecting their means of self-expression but also while respecting the club.”
