A verbal agreement between Lyon and the Dutch club has already been made – with Manchester United jumping in to disrupt the deal before it will be signed. Lyon reportedly agreed a €15m deal last week for the young left-back, with the Malacia wanting to join Dutch coach Peter Bosz at OL. According to RMC, Lyon’s acquisition by John Textor is also said to have sped up discussions for the player, who was under contract until 2024 at Feyenoord.
The Rotterdam-born Dutch international – who has 5 caps for his country – made 50 appearances across all competitions last season, scoring once and assisting five times. He made his debut for the first team in the the 2017/18 season for Feyenoord.
