Manchester United loanee Eric Bailly came off the field with an injury in the 44th minute of the game between Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique de Marseille on Sunday.
Giving an update on the player’s fitness, Marseille manager Igor Tudor said that he was unaware of the seriousness of the defender’s injury. As quoted by L’Équipe, the Croat said:
“For Eric, we’ll have to see how he feels in the next few days.”
Since joining the Ligue 1 club on a season-long loan deal, Bailly has failed to maximise his potential. He was out for a few weeks with a thigh injury in September.

Therefore, the start against PSG was his first appearance in Ligue 1 since playing 45 minutes against Lille on September 10. But unfortunately, it did not last long, with Samuel Gigot replacing the Ivorian. Gigot got the red card for a foul on Neymar in the second half as a 10-man Marseille succumbed to a narrow 1-0 defeat to the reigning Ligue 1 champions.
