It’s been an underwhelming start for Laurent Blanc as Lyon’s new boss to say the least – having mixed results with two wins and two losses, last week narrowly losing to Marseille in the Choc des Olympiques. Meanwhile, OGC Nice are undefeated in six, and looking to continue their recent uplift in form which has seen them rise up the table.
Blanc will be expected to continue with a 4-1-2-1-2 formation, but has been forced into one change ahead of the match, after Jérôme Boateng was hauled off in the Marseille clash last weekend. Sinaly Diomandé is expected to start in his place, after he replaced Boateng at the Stade Vélodrome. Otherwise Blanc could consider a start for the Brazilian Tetê, following slow starts from Moussa Démbélé in the last two matches.
Lyon predicted line-up v OGC Nice:
Lopes – Tagliafico, Mendes, Diomandé, Gusto, Lukeba – Aouar, Caqueret – Lacazette, Toko Ekambi, Tetê
