This Week’s WWE Smackdown Live Draws Lowest Audience Since June

According to ShowBuzz Daily, this week’s edition of WWE Smackdown Live, which featured a loaded lineup and Shinsuke Nakamura vs Kevin Owens, averaged 2.119 million viewers This week’s number is down big from last week’s 2.699 million viewership average.

This week’s edition of WWE Smackdown, which also featured AJ Styles vs Samir Singh, Baron Corbin vs Sin Cara, and a 2 out of 3 Falls Match, ranked #9 in overall cable TV viewership for the night, behind numerous outlets covering the terror attack in New York City.

Next week’s edition of WWE Smackdown Live will feature AJ Styles vs Rusev, with the winner earning the final spot on Team Smackdown at WWE Survivor Series in Houston. Currently, Team Smackdown at the PPV consists of Shinsuke Nakamura, Randy Orton, Bobby Roode, and will be captained by Shane McMahon. The Blue team will face Team Raw, captained by Kurt Angle, and featuring Braun Strowman. The rest of Team Raw will be determined in the coming weeks.
