The finals for the Knockouts Championship tournament have been set, and will take place next week on Impact Wrestling from Ontario, Canada.
After defeating Sienna and Allie in a triple threat match on this Thursday’s show, Rosemary will advance to take on Laurel Van Ness, with the winner becoming the brand new Knockouts champion. The title was left vacant after women’s wrestling pioneer Gail Kim, who won the title back at Bound For Glory, announced her retirement from professional wrestling and effectively vacated the belt.
For Rosemary, a win next week would mean her second reign as Knockouts champ. She previously held the title for 266 days, coming close to breaking the all-time record set by Taryn Terrell and was a large part of The Decay’s war against The Broken Hardys in 2016. For Laurel Van Ness, a win in the tournament finals would signal her very first Knockouts Championship win, and in fact her first major title win of any kind.
