– I had the pleasure of attending Monday Night Raw last night, at the Allstate Arena in Chicago. It was a fun show to experience live, even if it came off as more of a throwaway holiday special on television. John Cena made his return to help WWE sell tickets on Christmas Day and keep the ratings from sliding off a cliff, and he even worked a match against Elias. We also got a big title change, Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe and more. Full results from 12/25 WWE Raw. You can also check out my detailed live report from the show.

It was a relatively quiet weekend in indie wrestling with most promotions shutting down for the holidays and riding out the remainder of 2017 as we look ahead to a new year. That being said, AAW in Chicago will be running their final event of the year this Saturday at 115 Bourbon Street with a stacked card. Sean “XPac” Waltman will be in action, plus Jeff Cobb vs. Rey Fenix for the AAW Championship, Matt Riddle vs. ACH, Eddie Kingston vs. David Starr in a Bourbon Street Fight and a whole lot more. We’ll be there live in attendance, so I’ll tell you all about the show on Monday’s PW Morning Report.
