This week’s edition of WWE Raw kicked off the two-night WWE Superstar Shakeup, and it saw top names like Bobby Roode, Baron Corbin and Jinder Mahal move to the red brand. Tonight’s WWE Smackdown will conclude the Shakeup with names from Raw joining Team Blue.
According to ShowBuzz Daily, this week’s WWE Raw viewership averaged 3.622 million viewers, down from last week’s 3.921 million viewership average. Last week’s number was going to be hard to top considering it was the “Raw After WrestleMania”, which is typically a more-watched viewed episode of Raw coming on the heels of the biggest PPV of the year.
This week’s WWE Raw also saw a title change in the opening match, with Jeff Hardy defeating Jinder Mahal for WWE United States Title. The show closed with Bobby Roode being announced as the final move from Smackdown to Raw, and he competed in a huge 10 man tag team match.
Below is the hourly breakdown for this week’s WWE Raw viewership:
-The first hour averaged 3.634 million viewers
-The second hour averaged 3.754 million viewers
-The final hour averaged 3.479 million viewers
This week’s WWE Raw ranked #4 for the night in overall cable TV viewership.
