Interesting Note On WWE Reaching Out to City for XFL Team
As we noted yesterday, WWE Senior Vice President of Special Events John Saboor has reached out to the city of Orlando, FL about potentially bringing an XFL team to the city.
Saboor reaching out to Orlando is interesting given Vince McMahon maintained when he announced the return of the XFL that it would have no affiliation with WWE and would act as a completely separate entity. As of now, WWE is eyeing Camping World Stadium, which formerly hosted WrestleMania, as a possible location for the XFL team.
Awesome Kong Surgery Update
As noted, former TNA Knockout and WWE star Awesome Kong, who is currently featured in the Netflix show “GLOW”, underwent back surgery on Wednesday.
Kong, real name, Kia Stevens, noted on Instagram that the surgery was a success:
