WWE has announced a blockbuster tag team match for next week’s edition of WWE NXT that will see four current champions square off against one another.
In one corner, representing the Undisputed Era, will be the reigning NXT Tag Team Champions Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong, taking on a man they have become very familiar with in NXT UK Champion Pete Dunne. The “Bruiserweight” successfully defended his title against Zack Gibson on tonight’s episode, but next week will be getting a little backup from the brand new NXT North American Champion, Ricochet.
This will be an interesting bout, as Dunne made it very clear backstage at last weekend’s NXT Takeover: Brooklyn 4 event that while he didn’t like the Undisputed Era, his only interest in Ricochet is the gold he now wears around his waist.
WWE will be returning to Full Sail University this Thursday night to tape another month’s worth of NXT television, so we should have a better look at upcoming rivalries and matchups. We will have complete spoiler-filled coverage of tomorrow’s taping event right here on ProWrestling.com.
