This episode of MLW Fusion took place in South Philadelphia at the 2300 Arena, formerly the ECW Arena. The old school ECW vibe was definitely in the air, as two company originals were on hand to deliver their legendary brand of violence.

MYRON REED DEFEATED MJZ

The Lucha Brothers’ announcement about their future was teased. Pentagon and Fenix recently signed with All Elite Wrestling, in a deal that allows them to work for other companies. But would MLW be one of those companies?

MLW’s March 2 event was advertised, as well as the tag team match main event. H2TV happened next, with Teddy Hart and Brian Pillman Jr.

GRINGO LOCO DEFEATED PUMA KING

MJF cut a promo on Teddy Hart. MJF proclaimed that he had accomplished nearly everything imaginable in the business by age 22. He’s curious why everyone cares about Hart’s “redemption song,” but no one is singing his praises.

Tommy Dreamer cut a promo on Brian Pillman Jr and said that tonight was Christmas, because everyone is going to see who his mystery parter is. Dreamer said that Pillman would be lucky to make it out of Fusion alive.

BRIAN PILLMAN JR AND MYSTERY PARTNER VS. TOMMY DREAMER AND MYSTERY PARTNER

Pillman came out first and said he was not recruiting an ECW “junkie” to be his partner. He knew his rights and wanted do what he wanted to do, so he announced Davey Boy Smith Jr as his partner. Dreamer was out next and “Enter Sandman” hit, bringing The Sandman down to the ring as Tommy’s partner.

Sandman spent several minutes in the crowd before the match of course, pouring beer in the mouths of the fans and having a couple himself. When the match finally started, Tommy took the heat for the bulk of the contest.

Dreamer finally gave the hot tag and Sandman eventually ended up with his infamous kendo stick. Pillman dragged The Blue Meanie out from under the ring, but Meanie helped Sandman, as Sandman struck Brian with the kendo stick.

But in the end, Davey Boy got the pin and the win, for The Hart Foundation.

WINNERS: THE HART FOUNDATION

Dreamer received a standing ovation from the Philly crowd.

The Lucha Brothers are live on the big screen, along with Konnan. Fenix said that he and Pentagon were there to take on the world. He said that they are the best tag team on the planet. Pentagon said that they will wrestle when they want, where they want. They’re staying in Major League Westling.

Filthy Tom Lawlor is seen at the end, with his MLW World Championship. He said he had been partying with the title and that his work’s never done.
