Impact Wrestling has announced that Eddie Edwards will take on Rob Van Dam for the first time ever, kicking off the new year with Bash at the Brewery 2.
As unbelievable as it sounds, in nearly 20 years the two veteran wrestlers haven’t had so much as a tag team match against one another. Edwards has been with Impact since 2014, but Van Dam had returned to WWE prior to his arrival, and was not seen in an Impact ring until earlier this year.
Bash at the Brewery 2 air as an Impact Plus special on Friday, January 10th, just two nights before the company’s Hard to Kill pay-per-view in Dallas.
