– Injured WWE Superstar Alex Riley tweeted this update on his condition on Tuesday:
“9 a.m.- got in the ring for the first time in 6 weeks, rub some mat on it and get back in there! #RebuildTheRareBreed”
– For the second night in a row, WWE officials were said to be unhappy with the lack of crowd reactions at Monday’s RAW from Charlotte, North Carolina. There’s definitely a feeling that 3-hour RAWs are burning everybody out, including the audiences.
– The finish of CM Punk’s WWE title match against Ryback at Hell in a Cell, with referee Brad Maddox ‘screwing’ Ryback out of his win, was decided upon by Vince McMahon at the last minute.
As for why Maddox wasn’t at RAW to explain his actions, WWE wanted to keep him off television for a week to sell the effects of Ryback’s attack on him at the pay-per-view. Maddox is expected back on RAW next week.
