– The current tenative plan is for Sting to wrestle Triple H at WrestleMania, especially now that the Rock has signed to do a new movie in the spring. Sting is likely to make irregular appearances for the next few months, before becoming a regular weekly character leading into WrestleMania.
– The entire Team Authority vs. Team Cena angle for Survivor Series, including Sting’s debut was a decision made by Vince McMahon. Apart from November being a big month for the WWE Network and offering a PPV show for free, the recent WWE 2K15 video game release with Sting being a major character made the timing right.
– Brock Lesnar is currently scheduled to appear on the 12/8 Raw in Greenville, SC (perhaps for the Slammy Awards), the 12/29 Raw in Washington, DC (to build for the match with John Cena at Royal Rumble), the 1/12 Raw in New Orleans, the 1/25 Royal Rumble in Philadelphia and the 1/26 Raw in Hartford. He doesn’t appear listed for the Rumble go-home show in Dallas on 1/19 but should make his way onto the show as he is always on Raw prior to his PPV appearances. He’s likely to stay off TV for much of February before re-appearing on most Raw shows through until WrestleMania. As of this time, his final date with WWE will either WrestleMania itself or the Raw the night after – unless he signs a new deal with the company.
