RollingStone.com broke the news on Monday that legendary faction The Fabulous Freebirds will be among the inductees for the 2016 class of the WWE Hall Of Fame.
Joining the previously announced inductees, Sting and The Godfather, The Fabulous Freebirds will finally take their well-deserved place in the coveted WWE Hall Of Fame during WrestleMania 32 weekend in April.
With WrestleMania taking place in Texas this year, it is fitting for the legendary faction, which consisted of Michael Hayes, Terry Gordy and Buddy Roberts (and later Jimmy Garvin) to finally get inducted, as the group was a big part of wrestling history in Texas, particularly during their rivalry with The Von Erich’s in the now defunct World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW) territory.
