WWE has reportedly released Rich Bocchini (aka Rich Brennan) from the company.
PWInsider.com was first to report the news that Bocchini had been released by WWE. Bocchini himself took to social media on Wednesday evening to comment on the release. He simply wrote, “Thank you. Come again. #NewAdventures.
Bocchini was formerly the lead commentator for NXT before graduating to the SmackDown announce team. He was eventually replaced by the current voice of SmackDown, Mauro Ranallo. He had been previously working as a backstage interviewer, including as recently as this past Monday night, as seen above.
