— Brock Lesnar returned to WWE TV last night at the Hell in a Cell PPV – the first time he has been around since dropping the Universal title to Roman Reigns at SummerSlam. This came as a surprise to many as most believed that Lesnar had wrapped up his WWE commitments and was now concentrating on getting into shape to return to the UFC in the first quarter of 2019.

— However, as we noted recently, there was never any official statement from Lesnar, WWE or UFC that officially closed this chapter of his tenure with WWE and as a result, there were whispers that Lesnar could potentially be appearing for both promotions or even simply staying with WWE. At the least, it was expected that he would be returning after his next UFC fight.

— According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider, Lesnar is now expected to appear at “major WWE events” moving forward, at least for the short term which probably means for the remainder of 2018. Lesnar is said to be “very much in WWE’s plans” and is likely to wrestle at the next Saudi Arabia event in early November, possibly in a three-way title match against Reigns and Braun Strowman. With Lesnar also back in the USADA testing pool, he still has his sights on another UFC fight (which can’t happen until at least the beginning of 2019), essentially meaning that he is working for both companies.
