It looks like WrestleMania 35 was the official swan-song for Batista.
The WWE veteran took to social media following his No Holds Barred match with Triple H at Sunday night’s show at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey to formally announce his retirement from pro wrestling.
“[WWE Universe] Thank you for letting me entertain you,” wrote Batista via his official Twitter page on Monday morning. “I love this business and whether you cheered me or jeered me, I’m grateful for being a small part of your life. I am officially retired from sports entertainment and I am grateful for every second of my amazing journey.”
