It was previously reported that Raw will be broadcasting live on both Christmas Day and New Year’s Day since both days are Mondays. When word got out that WWE would be having a live Raw on both 12/25 and 1/1, there was naturally some unhappiness among several wrestlers. WWE has traditionally given everyone the day off on Christmas and usually New Year’s too.
In the past when Raw fell on a Monday, the company would have the shows pre-taped and then they would air it on delay instead of live. The biggest problem and complain that the wrestlers will likely have is to leave for their flights on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve just to make it to the show the next day as WWE wants everyone in the arena by early afternoon.
