According to Dave Meltzer in a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Baron Corbin was likely moved to RAW as the next step in making him the next “big guy” in WWE. Meltzer added that the expectation is that Corbin is once again in line for a significant push, even on a more stacked RAW roster.
It was also noted on The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the fact that Bobby Roode’s switch to RAW was saved for the end as the biggest surprise on the show bodes well for his character outlook moving forward. It was suggested that this clearly shows that WWE views him as the most significant wrestler to move from SmackDown Live to RAW.
