After enjoying a run as “Woken” Matt Hardy on WWE programming, Matt Hardy announced earlier this year that he would be stepping away from the ring due to a variety of injuries that he has sustained throughout his wrestling career. Since then, there has been talk of Hardy completely being finished with his in-ring work, and instead start working as a backstage agent or an on-air General Manager soon. In case there was ever any doubt, Hardy informed his fans on Twitter yesterday that he is not retired from wrestling just yet. There is no word on when Matt Hardy may be returning to the ring, but fans can at least take pleasure in knowing that “The Woken One” will be back in a WWE ring again at some point in the future.

My last @WWE match hasn’t happened yet, so this particular cycle shall be #BROKEN.. But I’m sure the DELIGHTFUL cycle of Hardys & Hennigs doing battle shall continue in the future. pic.twitter.com/GY0ou5nLU2

Fans were excited to see what Samoa Joe would bring to the table when he was called up to the main roster from NXT last year. Joe has had some entertaining matches against the likes of Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, an AJ Styles over the past few months, but he has not used his Muscle Buster finishing maneuver ever since he joined WWE’s top programs. During an interview with City Pages, Joe was asked about the move and when it may possibly be reintroduced. Samoa Joe said that he plans on using the maneuver on very special occasions, so it sounds like the Coquina Clutch will mostly continue to be his finisher going forward. Be on the lookout for the return of the Muscle Buster during any major upcoming matches involving Joe.

“The Muscle Buster is something I use at my pleasure when I choose to.”
Joe said before adding, “Trust me, when the opportunity arises and the conditions are
right, you never know what I’ll pull out. Maybe I’m not ready to pull it
out of my arsenal yet.”

One of the first matches announced for WWE’s TLC pay-per-view was a TLC match between Baron Corbin and Braun Strowman. If Corbin wins the match, he will become the permanent General Manager of Raw, but if “The Monster Among Men” gets the victory, he will earn a match against Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship. Unfortunately, Strowman’s recent elbow injury may have derailed all of WWE’s plans for the match. WrestleVotes now notes that Strowman could be taken out of the match if he is not ready to return by the show on December 16th. The match could also be changed to a multi-match soon, which would explain Corbin forming an alliance with Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley during Raw this week.

Hearing Braun Strowman may indeed be out past the TLC PPV, and they are preparing to make the TLC match involving Baron Corbin a multi man contest similar to the 2012 TLC PPV.
