It was announced at the start of the year that WWE will be bringing back the Women’s Tag Team Championships this year. The titles were revealed on Raw a few weeks ago, and it was later announced that the new champions will be crowned during the upcoming Elimination Chamber. There are a ton of tag teams right now on the Raw and SmackDown brands, so fans are eager to learn which one will receive the honor of becoming WWE’s first Women’s Tag Team Champions in over two decades. While the Elimination Chamber show is still a couple of weeks away from taking place, two of the tag teams that will be involved in the historic match were determined during last night’s episode of Monday Night Raw.
First up, Tamina and Nia Jax were able to earn their spot in the match. They were able to defeat the team of Alexa Bliss and Alicia Fox in order to secure their place on the Elimination Chamber card. Later on, another prominent team on the Raw brand won their right to challenge for the new titles. Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan of The Riott Squad defeated the team of Dana Brooke and Natalya, and they will now also be involved in the match for the Women’s Tag Team Championships. One more team from Raw will enter the match in the near future while three teams from SmackDown still have yet to be determined. The match goes down during the Ellimination Chamber pay-per-view on February 17th at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

Right after it was reported online that he had signed a new deal with WWE, Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett returned to Monday Night Raw during last night’s show. Jarrett reunited with Road Dogg, both of whom teamed up together on WWE television back in the 90s. They interrupted Elias during the show, but this did not sit well with the musician. Elias went on to attack both men with his guitar before leaving the arena. This comes right after Elias beat down and eliminated Jarrett from the Royal Rumble match this past weekend. It also looks like Elias has turned heel once again as he cut a promo insulting the fans in Phoenix before Jarrett and Road Dogg arrived. Prior to the attack, Jarrett and Road Dogg did at least sing a rendition of “With My Baby Tonight.”
