It appears that Brie Bella’s in-ring career has officially come to an end. During last night’s episode of Total Bellas, Brie revealed that she decided to retire from wrestling following her appearance at the Evolution pay-per-view in October. Brie and her sister Nikki returned for a brief run in late 2018 but neither of them have wrestled since Evolution. Brie faced a ton of criticism online after accidentally giving Liv Morgan a concussion during a match on Raw last year, which could have played a role in her decision to retire. Meanwhile, Nikki Bella indicated that she is still not through with her own in-ring career. During the episode, Brie Bella also revealed that she and Daniel Bryan are currently trying to have a second child together.
“I decided that after Evolution, I’m going to be fully retired,” Brie said. “I love WWE, but I learned that I can’t do everything. I just can’t.”
Chris Jericho has a ton of projects lined up for himself at the moment. In addition to hosting his own podcast, writing music with Fozzy, promoting his AEW Double or Nothing match against Kenny Omega, and working on his next wrestling cruise, Jericho was also working on a movie role. The former world champion announced yesterday that he officially wrapped his work on an upcoming Jay & Silent Bob movie reboot. Jericho uploaded an image of himself posing with stars Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes. Jericho mentioned that he had been dreaming of working with the comedy duo for years. There is no official release date for the new movie yet, but the belief is that it should be coming out within the next few months.

Well that’s a wrap! To say it’s an honor and a bucket list event to be a part of the hilarious new @jayandsilentbob flick #JayAndSilentBobReboot would be the underestimate of a lifetime! Thx to @thatkevinsmith & @jordanmonsanto for casting me in 2 AMAZING parts in 2 different movies in less than 7 months, (and dousing me in 2 separate disgusting substances in each) and for finally assembling the #Y2JayAndSilentBob lineup I’ve been dreaming about since I rented #Mallrats at #BlockbusterVideo 24 years ago! (Plus @jasonmewes was even cooler than i knew he would be! Btw…Did I win #FiveDollarFriday, Mewes??) #CanYouDigIt #HaterTots

James Ellsworth made his surprising return to the ring during an indie show last week. Ellsworth has been out of the spotlight now for months, but he returned to action during UCW show in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania this past Friday. Ellsworth was alleged to have sent inappropriate photos to an underage fan late last year. Since then, numerous promotions have refused to work with Ellsworth, but his accuser chose not to file any charges against him. Ellsworth appears to be getting back to work now, and he received a great ovation from the fans in attendance during the UCW show. Ellsworth can continue working since authorities were never contacted. The former WWE Superstar’s accuser still has yet to comment on his return to the ring.
