Last night’s special episode of WWE Monday Night Raw on USA Network, celebrating 25 years, drew a monster rating of 3.01 up from last week’s rating of 2.21. The rolling ten-week average headed into this week was 1.982, so this is more than 50 percent higher than the prior ten weeks averaged.

It drew a first-hour viewership number of 4.803 million, up from the first hour viewership of 3.573 million last week and 2.993 million the week before.

The dropoff was sharp, though, as by the the third hour, viewership was down 656,000 to a still impressive  4.147 million.

The average of all three hours equals 4.530 million, up from last week’s average of 3.250 million.

Keller’s Analysis: That is a massive success. The question is whether this show’s content did enough to excite people about today’s product who typically don’t watch.
