All four quarterfinal matches are now set for WWE’s King of the Ring tournament.
The quarterfinals will take place on Raw and SmackDown next week. The matchups are:
Raw —
Samoa Joe vs. Ricochet
Cedric Alexander vs. Baron Corbin
SmackDown —
Elias vs. Ali
Chad Gable vs. Andrade
Ali and Gable both advanced to the quarterfinals by winning their matches on tonight’s SmackDown. Ali defeated Buddy Murphy, while Gable defeated Shelton Benjamin.
Joe defeated Cesaro in the first round, Ricochet defeated Drew McIntyre, Alexander defeated Sami Zayn, Corbin defeated The Miz, Elias defeated Kevin Owens, and Andrade defeated Apollo Crews.
Madison Square Garden will host the semifinals on the September 9 episode of Raw and September 10 episode of SmackDown. The finals will then take place at Clash of Champions in Charlotte, North Carolina on September 15.
The winner of the tournament will be WWE’s first King of the Ring since 2015. Wade Barrett defeated Neville in the finals that year.
