Politicians have time and again dragged the Indian Army into their discourse. First it was UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath calling the Indian Army as ‘Modi Ji Ki Sena’ and now union minister and former Army Chief VK Singh courted controversy by after he reportedly said that “anybody who calls Indian Army Modi’s army is a traitor”. VK Singh was answering to a question during an interview with BBC Hindi when he was asked about Yogi Adityanath’s comment.
