A party is never complete without Punjabi songs loaded with lyrics on liquor and celebration. However, this nightmare for people of Punjab, Haryana and Chnadigarh has now come true.
The Punjab and Haryana High Court have put a ban on loud music and loudspeakers in private and public places including community halls and banquet halls.
The volume is also set to go down in mosques, gurdwaras and temples.
The Court has made a provision to seek a written permission from the authorities and this permission cannot be granted 15 days before or during annual examinations, reported The Indian Express.
