Synonymous to glamour, Italian designer label Sergio Rossi teamed up with sneaker specialist Puma for AW09. Merging sophistication with sport lifestyle, the collaboration blends stylish street credibility with endurance via various styles for both men and women.

For men, the two famed companies recreated the iconic Clyde sneaker, which was originally tailor made for all-star basketball legend Walt ‘ Clyde’ Frazier back in 1973, and the First Round ankle-high sneaker, the core inspiration behind the Hi-Top. Both models are available in either luxurious plain napa leather or in suede featuring a trademark logo and come in a collectors box with sliding compartment and recyclable tote bag.

Also for woman, the Sergio Rossi for Puma collaboration created a sneaker collaboration with a difference. The collection features two sneaker designs and three high-heeled contemporary creations. The iconic Clyde sneaker is re-interpreted once more this season whilst the ankle-high First Round design, a shapely evolution of the Clyde, makes its debut. A trio of high-heeled designs include the classic Lace-Up model and two new creations: a round-toe Pump shape and a high-heeled First Round model. The range has an assortment of fabric combinations including patent leather, suede and soft calfskin.

Puma is one of the world’s leading sport lifestyle companies that designs and develops footwear, apparel and accessories. The company aims to stay true to sustainable values and fair trade. The Puma Group owns the brands Puma, Tretorn and Hussein Chalayan. The company, which was founded in 1948, distributes its products in more than 120 countries, employs over 9,000 people worldwide and has headquarters in Herzogenaurach/Germany, Boston, London and Hong Kong.
