Scotch & Soda, the Amsterdam-based casual fashion business, has partnered
with Japanese distribution company Itochu Corp to oversee its distribution.
Itochu is the parent company to Coronet, the fashion sales and distribution
agency that will oversee Scotch’s & Soda’s AW15 sales, including its
menswear, Maison Scotch womenswear and Amsterdams Blauw denimwear. The
target customer is the 20 to 40 year-old.
The goal is to expand the business over the next three years opening
shop-in-shops in important department stores, and via tie-ups with
influential speciality stores, Itochu said in a statement.
