Zenit fans were keen to ensure the club’s players knew they were behind them ahead of their Europa League game against Fenerbahce.

The Russian club went into to the game 1-0 down from the first leg in Turkey, but won 3-1 on the night.

And as they made their way to the stadium before the game, supporters gave the team bus an impressive guard of honour, which saw fire line the streets.

Sardar Azmoun, who was making his home debut for Zenit, scored twice, with Magomed Ozdoev getting the other.

They now wait to find out who they face in the next round, as do Chelsea and Arsenal, who also made it through to the last 16 by beating Malmo and BATE Borisov respectively.
