The Champions League is heating up this season as Europe’s elite look to claim glory in the famous tournament.

The first legs of the Round of 16 have now been played and the blockbuster ties will be settled early next month.

Real Madrid have won the trophy for the last three years and remain among the favourites to do so again this season.

While there is still plenty to do, several clubs will be looking to the quarter-finals and beyond and here’s when the draw for the next round will take place.

Champions League quarter-final draw: When is it?

The draw will take place on Friday, March 15 at 11am UK time and will be conducted at UEFA Headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

Champions League quarter-final draw: How does it work?

There will be no seedings or country protection for the draw and any restrictions (for political reasons for example) will be announced ahead of the draw.

The semi-final draw will then follow immediately, meaning the rest of the tournament will be mapped out in full to the final in Madrid on June 1.

The quarter-final first-leg ties will be played on April 9 and 10 with the second legs to be played on April 16 and 17.
