Manchester United fans on Twitter were left fuming as Michael Oliver was confirmed as the referee for their game against Liverpool.
One of the most highly-anticipated games in the Premier League, the clash between the bitter rivals will be live on talkSPORT on Sunday at 2.05pm.
But the choice of match official has angered some United supporters, who felt the need to vent their frustrations on Twitter.
In the last nine games he has refereed a game involving Liverpool, Oliver has awarded seven penalties for the Reds.
And in 2017, Jose Mourinho accused the 33-year-old from Northumberland of costing the Red Devils on four occasions throughout the course of the 2016/17 season.
This season has seen accusations aimed at Reds star Mohamed Salah about his tendency to go to ground easily in the box, so the man in black will have to be on his guard.
Oliver still holds the record as the youngest Premier League referee in history and was promoted to the UEFA Elite Group of Referees in 2018.
But scroll down to see just what these angry Manchester United fans had to say about his appointment.
