Manchester United have been hit by an injury crisis at the worst possible time as they face four games in 12 days.

First up is a clash with Crystal Palace on Wednesday night and interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed he’s without 10 first-team stars.

Ander Herrera, Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard were forced off during Sunday’s draw against Liverpool – a match Anthony Martial, Phil Jones and Nemanja Matic were ruled out of, while Antonio Valencia and Matteo Darmian continue to be sidelined.

Marcus Rashford’s ankle issue will need to be assessed but there is an outside chance he could feature, with Solskjaer revealing it wasn’t as bad as first feared.

Teenager Mason Greenwood would have come in had he not been injured in recent weeks, which will be disappointing for the youngster.

Fellow starlets Tahith Chong, James Garner, and Angel Gomes are ready to deputise having been left out of the Red Devils’ Under-23 match against Reading.
